Chattanooga

We spent a couple of days in Kentucky and then head south to Chattanooga for a couple of days.  We stayed at the Chattanooga Choo Choo years ago when our oldest were small, so decided to go back again.

The hotel lobby is the old train terminal.  It was decorated beautifully for Christmas!

Our first day we went to The Lost Sea.  We were the only one on our tour!  It was a pretty neat thing to see, but a little creepy too!

I enjoyed hearing the history of the cave and how it was used during the war!

The kids enjoyed having a pool at both hotels!  They were the only ones swimming!

We had to get two rooms, and I enjoyed being by myself for part of the evening while the kids were out exploring! :)

The girls room!  (Well, Macheus stayed with us. :)

                                             He was so worn out!

                                                 Goofing off around the hotel.

Marc took the younger boys out for a little while to see stuff.  I'm guessing Malachi had already had his shower..... thus the pajama pants! :)

                                               Such a beautiful place!

Mariah liked the holsters in the gift shop. :)

Our second day we went to see Ruby Falls.  We took the older kids there many years ago!  It is probably a little more "touristy" than Lost at Sea.

At 6' 4 1/2" Matthew had to duck throughout most of it. :)

It was a busy, but very fun trip!  We all were exhausted and glad to be back home!  (Well, most of us!)
