Cotton Blossom

Year after year I watch the cotton crops across the street from us grow, but this year I took the time to go look at the plants up close.  I was amazed at how pretty the blossoms were on them.   They ranged from pale pink to hot pink.  I picked one to take a picture of it.  Mariah said,  "Do you think the farmer would get mad at you for picking one?"  I told her I didn't think he would miss just one. :o)  I don't slow down to "smell the roses" very often but when I do I am always glad I did!
